How to Produce Unlimited Plastic Surgery Leads?

How to Produce Unlimited Plastic Surgery Leads?

This is the wrong question to ask.

Think differently.

This is focused on the wrong thing.

Many plastic surgeons struggle with generating consistent leads, often focusing too much on the outcome rather than the process.

Rethink the question: from:

“How do I produce unlimited leads?” to

“What actions do I need to take to attract and engage more patients?”

Creating quality content is one of the most effective tools in this process.

Consistently creating valuable and engaging content builds trust, starts meaningful conversations, and leads patients to reach out for your services.

Otherwise, you rely on random actions or sporadic marketing efforts when you slow down, that don’t produce sustainable results. Then you blame it on the economy rather than your process…or lack of a process to keep leads coming in consistently and reliably.

Here’s how you do it…

Step #1:  Create Content & Distribute

  • Block Time: Just as you block time for surgery, you must schedule time for content creation. Make it a part of your weekly routine, rather than an afterthought.
  • Set clear goals: Are you creating content to educate, engage, entertain or convert? Each piece should have a purpose. A good ratio is 40% educate, 25% engage, 25% entertain and 10% convert using a time-sensitive promotion.
  • Tools to Use: Use social media apps to edit and video editing apps, props, music, real patient stories/photos/testimonials, imaging and anything else that would help patients understand your content and make it interesting to they stay to watch, learn and reach out to you.

Now you’re ready.

Here is an example…Shoot a quick, engaging video explaining what to expect during a consultation to help demystify the process and encourage inquiries.

Then set up a process to distribute that content online throughout many channels to build up your online presence so more people see your content.

Note: There is plenty of social media technology available to make this a simple process.

CREATE CONTENT & DISTRIBUTE

Step #2: Interact & Nurture

Your content will create inquiries, question, and comments from the public and they expect a response.

It’s your job to respond to them quickly and engage them. Some surgeons spend hours per night replying to these potential patients and some delegate to their staff to respond. Just be sure someone responds immediately to these leads or you’re wasting your time!

A nice touch is to include before/after photos of great results another patient got from the procedure they are asking about and then ask them one or two qualifying questions to determine if they are a good surgical candidate. Then, of course, invite them in for a consultation.

Step #3: Convert

The ultimate goal is to do more surgery so you must add a call to action to your conversation, or you’re just handing out free advice!

I suggest asking them for their name, email and cell so your staff can send them a special video you made or more before/after photos or a patient story similar to them.

Then add a closing statement such as, “I look forward to meeting you in person.”

Conclusion

It’s time to shift your focus from chasing leads to building a consistent process that attracts, engages, and converts prospective patients.

Content is the foundation of this strategy, helping you connect with your audience, build trust, and encourage them to reach out, so take deliberate action to grow your practice one piece of content at a time.
